in case you didn't get the email "Some remains of the day"

“Hey TASPers,”

So Danforth is empty. You have all gone home, leaving the place empty. The halls are silent, your rooms occupied only with the things you have left behind, and your factota more than a little nostalgic. We have spent the day cleaning out your rooms, removing the garbage, the towels, and the half-eaten peach (shame!). We have also had the opportunity to reflect on each of you, remembering what made you funny, charming, and sometimes just plain weird: we miss you, in short.

The “remains of the day” include a number of items (person in whose rooms they were found are in parentheses):

-a medley of wet towels
-many hangers
-tennis racket (Mina/Cynthia)
-musty bathroom rugs
-pillows and blankets
-Ruben’s Race for Sanctions*
-Ryan’s evil Coca-Cola shirt and her underwear*
-large hair clip (Kathryn/Ryan)
-lock and key that mentions the Barrettos of Bombay (Manasi/Alison)
-brown belt (Leonel/Ruben)
-headphones (Leonel/Ruben)
-picture slideshow CD
-1 TASP group photo
-Rocky Horror Picture Show DVD (Miranda?)
-blue extension cord
-“year book” jars* (Cynthia**, Jordan, Fuyuo)
-radio/CD player (Rodney)**

*these are definitely being sent back, no need to ask
**Cynthia and Rodney, please email your home addresses to Lynn so that she can drop the jar and CD player off when she returns to MI.

Please let us know ASAP if you would like any of these things back. Also let us know if you are missing things that you haven’t already talked to the factota about and aren’t on this list. Housekeeping will soon sweep through your ex-rooms, and they will probably throw everything they find away. When you email us to claim goods, let us know if you would be willing to pay for the shipping—we will certainly try to get your valuables back to you, but we are not sure we have sufficient money remaining to cover all the shipping.

We are still missing the Juggernaut report. Submit this to both factota ASAP!

During our Telluride Association talk, we forgot to mention the TA website—www.tellurideassociation.org. You should all set up logins so that you can look up other Telluriders. It’s searchable by a number of different fields, and it will soon include information on whether or not older TA members are willing to provide internships or mentoring to younger TA associates, the fields of many members and associates, their businesses or academic institutions, etc. In order to set up a login, go to the homepage, click on the Member and Associate section, and fill out the registration information. All of you are now in the TA directory, although some of you need to update your email and home addresses. This should be self-explanatory, but email one of us if you have trouble.

Stay in touch, use the blog, and begin planning your TASP reunion ASAP.

In case it wasn’t clear, we miss you.

Love (non-eros),

Lynn and Tyler

juggernaut report...um...right. ::shifty look::

My part is saved on the mac in the comp room that is either second or third on the right, under documents, titled juggernaut report or something to that effect. Jordan's part is saved on the third computer on the right side.

Jordan facebook'ed this to me: I think it's Manasi's:

Toga Party
The dazzling Committee of the Juggernaut organized a TASP party in which people took various household items, i.e. sheets and blankets, and created Pseudo-Togas. In preparation for this activity we made chocolate covered strawberries as well as chocolate covered pineapples. In addition the Committee decorated the lounge with streamers and covered the light fixtures with purple cellophane in order to create a relaxed and hopefully aquatic ambiance. In an attempt to further cultivate said ambiance we decorated the walls with fish posters, acquired from Targét. We further added to the joviality of the party by created multiple playlists using dongs from different TASPers music repertoire. The party started at 8:30 and lasted until everyone felt to tired to party any more.
Unfortunately, though we tried to assemble a diverse collection of songs to play for the party many TASPers interests were underrepresented, i.e. we did not play any Beatles. However, the party quickly evolved into a party/game night and overall we believe it to be a success.
Special thanks to Kathryn Brown for purchasing the wall mounted fish.

2006 Telluride Association WASH U Game Day
The magnificent Committee of the Juggernaut also deemed Saturday July 28th the 2006 Wash U. Game day. As the BIRT was originally introduced to take place on the 29th after much debate and consideration of other events we moved the Game Day to the 28th. We as a TASP community with the guidance of the glorious Committee of the Juggernaut decided to play a game of capture the flag ergo we split into two teams. Black versus Green. Good versus Evil. In any event after hours of intense physical toil and intense mental competition the Black Team rose above the Green in victory. Good always prevails. Back to a more relevant subject, there were very few claims that the Game Day was lacking in any manner. After the game was done, and the black team rejoiced in their, dare I say stellar, performance, some members continued to join in on a soccer game. At one point during the night four young men from the TASP community stealthily ambushed their fellow community members from the shadows and set vengeance upon them… soon after a water gun war broke lose. All in all we of the Committee of the Juggernaut believe that the game night was a very nice success.
Special thanks to Fuyuo Nagayama for his pivotal role in the Black Teams victory.
Special thanks to the Green Team for their sportsmanship and for pressing the Black Team to its limits.
Congratulations to the Black Team for being the better team that night.

Zoo in Forest Park
The honorable Committee of the Juggernaut scheduled a trip to the Forest Park Zoo on the 13th of July 2006. We took the campus van to forest park where we got off of the shuttle and walked to the zoo. In the zoo we separated into groups and spent around two hours meandering around the complex, looking at the different exhibits. Unfortunately we missed the bus on the way back and we had to sit in the scorching heat for… a long time. In any event we eventually made it back to the campus and concluded the excursion. The event was a success.

Sorry about that. We were too busy being sad.
