Unfortunately this comment isn't about college. XD

We (UTASP) moved our blog to private settings because of parental reasons. If anyone wants to read our blog still, let us know, and we'll send you an invite.

Rawr. I shake the fist at colleges and the stress, worry, and heartbreak they inflict on innocent studies. So there. Indigance.
Anyway, best of luck to all the TASPers. I hope all this college business shall work out well, as you are all superlative in every possible way.

You people are amazing, but that goes without saying.

I suppose I should post myself, given that I started this entry.

Anyway, I'm between Yale, Columbia, and Dukeifigetthisscholarship.
In other words, entirely undecided.

I figure posting other people's news is fair game at this point, so if anyone knows anything, cough it up.

Word on the street is:
Spencer, telluride conformist that he is, got into HARVARD

Mina got into (and i may be missing some here): yale, harvard, dartmouth, brown, cornell, penn, uchicago, and washu.

Cynthia is getting hella money from UMich, though I'm not sure if she's going there.

That's all I got.
Tell me more. I'm trapped in north carolina and dying to know.

Bravo and congratulations to all the amazing Wash U TASPers! Whuuuuuuuuuuuuut!
Alas, my news is not at all cheerful. I got into all the British universities to which I applied, but I only got into two of the American colleges to which I applied: Rice and Penn State. I'm applying to Harvard's waitlist, though. So, unless the Japanese market crashes and the pound-dollar ratio plummets, I shall be spending the next few years in Texas, perhaps.

anyone heard from rodney, gerardo, max, manasi, or jordan?

I got into the holy trifecta of schools I wanted to get into (Berkeley, Chicago and Harvard) and got rejected or waitlisted from everywhere else. I guess they could all sense my lack of overbearing enthusiasm.

Needless to say, I was pretty surprised about Harvard, and accepted their invitation, though I'm disappointed that I don't get to go to all three of those schools.

So apparently Mina is going to Harvard, which brings our TASP total to five (Mina, Spencer, Tracy, Fuyuo, Katharine).

Also, straight from facebook, the words of Max:

"Well, if you've simply got to know, I'm deciding between Berkeley, Chicago, Columbia, Cornell, and Stanford."

Smart kid, that one :-)

The amount of TASPers that go to Harvard (and Yale and Stanford) scare me. SO MANY! But I guess that's a good thing. :)

well, Harvard's okay, but we all know that Cornell kicks it where it counts.

I got a full ride to Carnegie Mellon, I'm going there. I just got my finaid package yesterday. I hate college too, but it's going to be nice to not have to pay for anything. Pittsburgh here I come.
